Cartesian One Form

A one form in Cartesian coordinates is simply a set of planes. The distance between the planes represents the magnitude of the form and the normal to the surface of the planes represents the direction of the form. For example say we have a vector pointing in the x direction of magnitude one. The form representing this vector would be planes in the y - z plane separated by one.
