Forms Tour
Spherical One Form Spherical Forms are surfaces normal to the directions of the three unit vectors of spherical coordinates. For example, surfaces perpendicular to the thee direction form cones with there axes in the plus or minus z direction. Surfaces normal to the radial direction form hollow spheres and surfaces normal to the phi direction form flat planes rotated around the axis. In this example of spherical one forms surfaces normal to the thee direction are shown. |
